The European Commission has published the Work Programme 2023 - 2024 for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Further documents, such as the application templates or the Guides for Applicants, will be published with the opening of the respective calls for applications.

The most important changes concern the Doctoral Networks:

  • Increase of person months in the classic Doctoral Networks from 360 to 540.
  • Extension of the project duration in the Joint Doctorates from 48 to 60 months.
  • Increase of the maximum recruitment period from 36 to 48 months per doctoral candidate in the Joint Doctorates. Important: This does not change the maximum grant amount, i.e. instead of 15 doctoral candidates of 36 months each (which is still possible), now only 11 doctoral candidates of 48 months each can be funded per Joint Doctorate (if you choose to recruit each doctoral candidate for 48 months). The maximum of 540 person months remains.
