Proposal submission is only possible if the respective call is open. The calls for proposals can be found in the current Work Programme. As a general rule, the calls for proposal open annually.

The proposals are submitted via the electronic submission system of the European Commission.

The application documents for the respective MSC action are available in the Funding & Tenders Portal.

The A form with general information on the project, the participants, the budget, ethics and security issues is filled in electronically in the system.

For part B of the proposal, a template needs to be downloaded. The structure of the template corresponds to the evaluation criteria "Excellence", "Impact" and "Implementation". The applicants must stick to the structure with chapters, headings and subheadings.

The Guide for Applicants is an important document for the proposal and is published with each call. It contains relevant information on the action as well as helpful hints regarding the requirements of the call and the application procedure.

MSCA are single-stage actions which means that a complete application has to be submitted at the call deadline. The proposals are evaluated in a single step as well.

Experts evaluate the proposals in a peer review procedure.
