Review of the MSCA lump sum and unit contributions

As the current rates were established in 2020, a study was carried out to review the MSCA lump sum and unit contributions and to recommend updated eligible researcher and institutional contributions for each MSC Action.

In the MSCA, costs are reimbursed on the basis of lump sum and unit contributions, the latter covering costs for recruited researchers, seconded staff members as well as institutional costs. As the current rates were established in 2020, a study was carried out to review the MSCA lump sum and unit contributions and to recommend updated eligible researcher and institutional contributions for each MSC Action. The Executive Summary as well as a Final Report have been published. Based on the findings of the study, the allowances have been increased and the country corrections coefficients have been adjusted. The new conditions apply to the 2024 and 2025 calls of the Work Programme 2023–2025.
