The European Commission has published the results of the Doctoral Networks call 2025 call. A total of 1,616 applications were submitted. In total 141 applications have been selected for funding – 8 of these under the Joint Doctorates scheme and 5 under the Industrial Doctorates scheme. This corresponds to a success rate of around 9 percent. The budget of 617 million euros will enable funding for over 2,115 doctoral candidates. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our warmest congratulations in particular to the 12 successful German coordinators.
