The European Commission has published the results of the Doctoral Networks 2023 call. 1,066 proposals were submitted. A total of 128 proposals (113 in Doctoral Networks, 8 in Industrial Doctorates, and 7 in Joint Doctorates) are earmarked for funding, with an overall success rate of 12 percent. More than 1,900 doctoral candidates can be funded with the budget of 443 million euros. We would like to congratulate the 19 successful German coordinating organizations in particular.
