The European Commission has published the results of the Doctoral Networks 2022 call. 942 applications were evaluated in total: 794 in Doctoral Networks, 73 in Industrial Doctorates and 75 in Joint Doctorates. A total of 149 applications (14 in the Industrial Doctorates and 12 in the Joint Doctorates) are earmarked for funding, with an overall success rate of 15.8 percent. A total of 1,650 doctoral students can be funded with this year's budget of almost 430 million euros. German institutions are represented as beneficiaries in 66.4 percent of all projects. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 19 successful German coordinations in particular.
